Within our covenant of shared servant ministry, we will hold each other accountable to the vision and mission of the church and to: |
| Be a Body of Believers |
| |
We will not be content with “playing” church. We will be the Church. We will seek synergistic mutuality as members of one body in the Lord, acknowledging that the overall health of the body is dependent upon the health of each member. (1 Corinthians 12:12-31) |
| Create Christ-centered Community |
| |
We will take time to know and be known, to love and be loved, to celebrate and be celebrated in a safe and loving community where Christ is the center of all we do. (Romans 12:8-18; 1 Corinthians 13) |
| Deepen our Devotion to the Divine |
| |
We will intentionally deepen our corporate and individual spiritual lives through Bible study, worship, prayer, and retreat. A monthly Personal Retreat Day will be mandatory for all staff ministry leaders. This will be a day for personal spiritual reflection and growth. (Acts 2:42) |
| Expect Excellence in Everything |
| |
We will seek excellence in everything we do in ministry for Christ and in the context of our personal lives before God. (Psalm 8:1 KJV) |
| Focus Fully on Faithfullness |
| |
We will pursue self-examination and honest reflection regarding the extent to which our individual gifts, talents, and personal goals are consistent with God’s call and Christ’s claim on our lives.

| Give to the Glory of God |
| |
We will grow in our giving, with the tithe as the expected and normative response to God’s blessings in the covenant community. (Acts 4:32-37) |
