St. Luke's is the charter organization of Troop 6 and Pack 6 for the Boy Scouts of America. Troop 6 began in 1989 when it was chartered by St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Orlando, Florida.

The mission of the Troop 6 Committee and Leaders is to supply adult leadership and resources to offer an outstanding scouting program to the youth of our community.

They also organize and participate in community outreach services such as SHARE, Coalition for the Homeless, UMW Holiday Bazaar and Trunk or Treat with St. Luke's and a variety programs with Dr. Phillips Rotary Club.
