St. Luke's Global Fair Trade Market (Alternative Market)
St. Luke's Global Fair Trade Market is held one weekend every November. It is held in the Rotunda and Welcome Halls. Handcrafts made in developing countries are sold to help support a more just economic system for people in those countries. In honor of family and friends, animals and building supplies can be purchased.
The Heifer Project sends animals to people in developing countries and Habitat for Humanity builds homes for low-income families. For more information contact www.heifer.org or www.habitat.org. This is a great way to do your Christmas shopping for those hard to buy for people! Volunteers are needed to help set up, check out and clean up at the market on that Sunday.
