"Children are a gift from the Lord" Psalm 127:3

Child and Student Protection Policy -Child Check-in/out procedures for all programs serving children.

Because we love your children and want to provide a safe and secure environment for them during our programs we are asking that parents help us out by going through check-in and check-out procedures when dropping off or picking up children. Please take the time to sign your child in and to sign your child out. We want to be certain that children are properly accounted for at all times. We also ask that you do leave your child unattended on the campus without any adult supervision. Thank you for your assistance.

Faith-based retreat for 5th graders on Human Sexuality

We are pleased to inform you that our Warren Willis United Methodist Camp in Fruitland Park will be offering a faith-based retreat for 5th graders on human sexuality. Young people today need to have reliable, faith-based information about human sexuality. For many people, though, this is a difficult subject to talk about.
The dates are April 25 to 27 and designed for 5th grade students and their parents or guardians to explore this subject. “Created by God” is a comprehensive faith-based study of human sexuality for 5th graders and their parents or guardians, developed by Dr. James H. Ritchie, a pastor, religious educator, father and grandfather. Dr. Ritchie will be at the Warren Willis United Methodist camp for this “Created by God” weekend retreat that offers six sessions for parents and their children. The weekend also offers times of worship, game playing, and communication skill building.

Visit the camp Web site at www.flumcamps.org, and click on events tab on the Warren Willis Camp page. For more information about this retreat or any other events at the Warren Willis Camp, contact the camp office at 352- 787-4345, or e-mail Joel Pancoast at jpancoast@flumc.org.
