Opportunities for Your Child to Serve

Children have a very special place in our church, and the roles of acolyte and crucifer give them an opportunity to serve as Christian disciples in worship.

For 3rd and 4th graders: Will serve primarily as acolytes, carrying offering plates, pitches of baptismal water and baptismal candles. 

For 5th graders: Will serve as Crucifers (cross bearers).

Training: Your child will need to attend only 1 session of training that will last about 1 hour and take place in the sanctuary. (Offered in the Fall only)

This is a wonderful ministry as our children make a valuable contribution to the worship experience and adults are uplifted by seeing these "fresh faces of faith" Sunday after Sunday!
