School of the Arts Dress/Hair Code

A reasonable dress and hair code has been developed to provide School of the Arts students with a safe classroom environment.

Ballet classes require solid color leotards and pink tights to encourage a more dignified atmosphere. All leotards should be free of adornments.

No jewelry is allowed except stud earrings.

Students who repeatedly dress inappropriately for classes may be suspended at the discretion of the School.

Hair must be very securely fastened off of the face for all classes; in a ponytail or bun if hair is shoulder-length or longer. Hair adornments must be securely attached.

Specific Class Dress Codes

Dancewear can be purchased through the School of the Arts. Click here for more information.
