Join us for our upcoming sermon series: “Find Yourself Again... at St. Luke’s.”
We know it’s not easy when life pulls us in so many different directions to discover and claim our identity as people who are worthy, children of God with the resources to make a positive impact on the world. This series about St. Luke’s core values includes understanding Christ-centered: Acceptance, Hospitality, Community, Discipleship and Service and how these can help us embrace the best parts of ourselves and others for the Glory of God.
The classes and activities listed below are being offered on Wednesday nights, April 9- May 14, to support our series. They cover a range of life topics including some to help you learn more about St. Luke’s and United Methodism. Whether you are a long time member of St. Luke’s or visiting with us, begin a journey of finding your place in the body of Christ.

John Wesley for the 21st Century: Set Apart for Social Witness Are you concerned about health care, public education, war and peace, science and religion, our growing prison population, the economy, and spiritual growth? These concerns are not new to our time. John Wesley, an 18th century British clergyman and founder of Methodism, addressed these very contemporary issues in his own time with creative answers that may open your eyes to new responses to our own concerns. His message of grace and salvation led Wesley to innovative solutions to problems in his time. This class will provide a great foundation for understanding how we might be social witnesses today. This class will be offered two times at Sunday at 11 a.m.* (Office Conference Room) led by Mike Jones and Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. (Special Events Dining Room) led by Lauri Maben-Tenney.
