MOPS PM

What is MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. Here you will experience authentic community, mothering support, personal growth and spiritual hope, all to help you be the best mom possible. MOPS is dedicated to the message that "Better Moms Make a Better World." MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy to kindergarten provide the foundation in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.
MOPS International exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ. It is a non-denominational Christian organization, but all mothers of preschoolers are welcome regardless of religious beliefs. You also do not have to be a member of St.Luke’s to attend our chapter.
How is MOPS PM different from classic MOPS/MOPS AM?
The MOPS PM program is the result of our commitment at St. Luke's to reach all moms in our community. We realize that for many moms the meeting time of the classic group does not fit their schedule. In our MOPS PM meetings, it is a more intimate group of moms who meet for an hour and a half. The MOPS AM and PM teams work together to plan the meetings, so that the topics meet the particular needs of the moms and the challenges they face during motherhood. The MOPS AM and PM groups are all invited to the same mom's night out and play dates.
When does MOPS PM meet?
We meet the 3rd Wednesday night of the month, September - May in Room 205/207, Building C from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Here are the dates for our 2012-2013 meetings:

What happens during the MOP PM Meeting?
Our meetings are designed to be a time of refueling and refreshment for you. A place where you can be nurtured, rather than be the nurturer. A place to form new friendships, learn something new, be real about what you are going through and have some fun! During your evening you will have time to visit, snack, and view a DVD or hear a presentation that relates to life as MOPS. Your group will then discuss the DVD or presentation further. Here is typical schedule for Monday meetings:
