St. Luke's Summer Camps
Summer Programs for our Families 2013
St. Luke’s is committed to living into our Christian teachings as emphasized within the United Methodist tradition. Our focus as United Methodist followers of Jesus are best expressed in St. Luke's Core Values: Acceptance, Hospitality, Community, Discipleship, and Service.
The primary themes of our summer camps are twofold: that God’s love and grace have no boundaries, and that we are called to share this love and grace with all people. We also believe that being a follower of Jesus is more about what you do in your everyday life than about what you say you believe. This is why mission and social justice, and discovering ways to connect with God, play such an important role in our camp experiences.
We invite children and families of all backgrounds and traditions to participate in summer camps at St. Luke’s.
Our Federal ID Number is 59-2135880.
Registration for Vacation Bible School (VBS) Sub-Merge (5th-6th Grade) and School of the Arts Summer Camps is now open. VBS Pre-K - 4th Grade is Full.
All age requirements are as of Summer 2013. All grade requirements are as of Fall 2013.

Love the Lord your God…and love your neighbor as yourself. – Luke 10:27, CEB
It's the celebration of the year and you're invited! Celebrate God's welcoming love for everyone at St. Luke's United Methodist Church Everywhere Fun Fair (VBS), where God's world comes together. At this exciting child-friendly fair, your children will experience the love of Jesus, meet welcoming neighbors from the Bible and explore the everyday life of neighbors from Japan, Zimbabwe, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Mexico. Children will discover that God's love welcomes everyone, as they learn to love and serve God and be a neighbor to the world. Children will attend exciting attractions such as interactive Bible storytelling, global games, rockin' music, super science, and more!
Everywhere Fun Fair takes children to a global celebration with the look and feel of a world's fair. Children will make friends with neighbors around the world and discover that God's love can be found everywhere, including their own neighborhoods. Everywhere Fun Fair addresses and represents the whole spectrum of people in the human family--ages, races, abilities, and stages of development.
Through five Bible stories, called Today's Celebration, children will
- Meet Abraham and Sarah, see the ways they offer hospitality to three visitors, and discover that neighbors are friendly. (Gen. 18:1-14 and 21:1-3)
- Meet a widow who gives food to Elijah, who demonstrates that neighbors are giving. (1 Kings 17:7-16)
- Discover how a bold Samaritan comes to the aid of a person in crisis by making sure all of his needs are met and explore how neighbors are bold. (Luke 10:25-37)
- Watch as Jesus forgives Zacchaeus and see how this life-changing action makes a difference in how Zacchaeus treats his neighbors. Neighbors are forgiving! (Luke 19:1-10)
- Encounter Peter and Cornelius discovering how God is welcoming to all people and why we should do likewise. Neighbors are welcoming! (Acts 10:1-43)
Looking forward to seeing you at the fair! Check back the first of the year for more updates.
