At HopeSpring we are connected in vision, mission, and ministry with others around the world who have been called to serve Christ through The United Methodist Church. On this day we welcome back the Rev. Gary Shockley and his family. Gary was the first pastor of HopeSpring and is currently serving through the United Methodist Board of Discipleship as he gives leadership to the Path One initiative of the denomination, which is aggressively planting new churches for Jesus Christ. Gary's wife Kim serves through the East Central District of the church as the Congregational Transformation Coordinator. The Shockley family will be our guests at one of our great HopeSpring breakfasts at 10:00 am, and at 11:00 am Pastor Bill will interview Gary and Kim about their work. |
