  • Director of Children’s Ministries (full-time)

Surrounded by the creative minds from Disney World and Universal Studios, St. Luke’s United Methodist Church is searching for their next Director of Children’s Ministry.  St. Luke’s is a highly creative and progressive church with a significant online presence. The church values acceptance, hospitality, community, discipleship and service, and these values are intentionally interwoven into all aspects of ministry. St. Luke’s is a large church with innovative theatre, sports, and community empowerment ministries. A strong foundation of volunteers and consistent ministry leadership will allow for future innovation and growth in the Children’s Ministry.   • Associate Director of the Child Development Center (full-time)

The Associate Director for the Child Development Center will be responsible for organizing and directing opportunities and experiences designed to promote the spiritual and educational development of preschool children enrolled in the Child Development Center. The Associate Director will work closely with the Director to implement the vision and direction of the school through strong administrative, communication, and leadership skills.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in child-care operations
  • CPR and First Aid Certificates
  • Completion of DCF 40-hour training program
  • computer skills
  • strong financial background
  • ability to multi-task
  • organize and delegate
  • Detail-oriented with time-management, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain professional under pressure
  • High level of discretion and emotional intelligence with the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain the strictest confidentiality.
