TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER
|

St. Luke’s is seeking a FT Manager to collaborate with the Executive Director of Support Ministries and ministry team leaders to coordinate and direct the Technical Service activities to enhance all the Ministry Programs offered by St. Luke's United Methodist Church. The Manager will provide staff support for the development and implementation of ministries and provide counsel and expertise to the Worship and Administrative Leadership team and its ministry teams. To be considered the candidate must minimally have the ability to continue the management of current ministries and services as well as the knowledge and vision to grow. This position provides overall audio-visual support for worship services and special events planned. The Manager must be comfortable with all aspects of sound, lighting and video including mixing, signal flow, set/up and teardown, repair and maintenance and Pro Tools. Two years of college or university program certificate; and two to four years experience in high-tech audio, video and lighting systems experience and/or training required. A combination of education and experience is acceptable. The candidate must have a strong commitment to Christian Faith and theology, be a multi-tasking team player with a positive attitude, high energy and strong interpersonal skills and exhibit Flexibility and adaptability. TECHNICAL SERVICES - ADMINISTRATIVE TECHNICIAN

St. Luke’s is seeking a PT Administrative Technician to schedule and assure all technical needs for worship service venues and other daily and special events are met. The Administrative Technician will also work to build servant ministry opportunities. Edit and Upload sermons, attend worship debrief meetings; Coordinate repair and prepare reports. The audio engineer will set up, program, and run sound console/audio equipment, for Contemporary or Traditional Worship Services. To be considered the candidate must have a High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or 12-18 months tech related experience and training or equiv. and minimally be familiar with all aspects of the tech production equipment and have working knowledge of Microsoft software programs, Pro Tools, Media Shout, etc. Two years of college or university program certificate; and two to four years experience in high-tech audio, video and lighting systems experience and/or training required. KINGDOM CAMP STUDENT COUNSELOR
|
|
|
What are the responsibilities of a KINGDOM CAMP COUNSELOR? The Kingdom Camp Leadership Team provides for the day-to-day operation of the summer camp program. As a Kingdom Camp Team member one can expect to: - Be responsible for a small group of children (normal ratio of one counselor to 7 or 8 campers).
- Co-teach small group sessions with either an adult volunteer or another counselor. Small group sessions occur 4 times a day and include activities, discussion and bible study. An ample curriculum is provided.
- Assist and participate in large group sessions.
- Co-lead a skill groups with other Kingdom camp staff. Skills include: outdoor games, drama, basketball, soccer, artistic expression, etc.
- Participate and supervise campers during daily morning and afternoon Praise Time and afternoon Worship.
- Adhere to proper sign in and out procedures for children, as discussed at orientation.
- Adhere to St. Luke’s Child and Student Protection Policy as discussed at orientation.
KINGDOM CAMP COUNSELORS are expected, after being trained, to: - Be flexible
- Have a servants heart
- Have a clear understanding of liability and safety issues
- Be able to work with other team member’s
- Be able to responsibly fulfill above duties
- Be able to share their faith journey with campers and other team members
- Be knowledgeable of St. Luke’s Camp Mission and Vision.
