Lenten Offering

St. Luke’s extends God’s work beyond our Operating Budget through offerings collected at our Lenten services. This year, the Lenten Offering will help our neighbors fight hunger and food insecurity here at home and globally. Our goal of $50,000 will carry us through fall to continue St. Luke’s Supporting HEARTS weekly food distributions for those in the arts/entertainment community impacted be the pandemic, as well as children who are vulnerable and orphaned in Rwanda and Zimbabwe through ZOE ministries.

The pandemic has exacerbated hunger for people who were vulnerable to food insecurity already and has made hundreds of thousands become food insecure in 2020 (some for the first time) due to the massive job/income losses following the economic crisis.

Set aside at least a dollar a day or the cost of a meal (if fasting, information below) for this special Lenten Offering to support children and families facing hunger. Please mark your donations with “Lenten Offering” so we designate your gifts in the right account, or click the button below:
