St. Luke's Outreach Ministries

St. Luke's success in Kingdom building will be measured by the extent to which gifted, committed, and enthusiastic disciples of Jesus Christ are deployed as his servant ministers in faithful obedience to God's will, while witnessing to God's mercy, justice, and love.

At least twenty days out of every month St. Lukers are serving somewhere in Central Florida or in another part of the world. Check out all the ways you might use your gifts and talents to share Christ's love with others.

Outreach News
Florida Hurricane Recovery
June through November is Hurricane season and we all must be prepared. Our homes, families, friends and church families must work together when a storm is approaching. Recovery from a direct hit by a hurricane can take years and we must be prepared to help immediately after a storm as well as for the years to come after a storm hits.

St. Luke's and Advocacy Work
In the past couple of years St. Luke's has become more involved in advocacy work with the hope of alleviating some of the causes of suffering in our own community and in other places in the world. Volunteers have written letters to elected officials, attended rallies, participated in classes on issues, organized worship and interfaith events, and supported organizations with goals of eliminating poverty and hunger.
How to Volunteer
If you want to volunteer, most ministries have a sign up on the website by visiting the Kingdom Building Now Serving page, or you can scroll to the top of this page, click on Volunteer Opportunities on the left side and view a few of the current opportunities.
