Jesus Said … “Follow Me”

Following as Disciples in Jesus’ footsteps will equip us to more effectively serve at St. Luke’s. Leaders of committees, small group facilitators, staff, emerging leaders and those interested are encouraged to attend. Classes will last 4-6 weeks.

Adventures in Leadership

• 3 Key Topics: Spiritual preparation of Leadership at St. Luke’s, Called to be Servant Ministers, Essential qualities of St. Luke’s leaders

Being a Contagious Christian

• Key Topics: Identifying and developing your style, Sharing your faith story

All About the United Methodist Church

• 3 Key Topics: The roots of Methodism, Our beliefs and social principles, Our strengths and future as a global church

Dynamics of Small Groups

• Members and facilitators of small groups and support groups are encouraged to attend
• 3 Key Topics: Effective facilitation techniques, Proven ways to strengthen your small group, Participants workshops

Kingdom Builders

• Open to everyone who has wondered what God wants from them, and how they can best serve God.
• Key topics: Discovering your Spiritual Gifts; Identifying your Heart’s Desire; Determining your Personal Style

These classes target St. Luke’s ministry needs as identified by the Healthy Church Initiative and the Church Council.

If you are wondering if you should sign up for a class, you probably should. If you are wondering where you will find the time, you will probably make the time. If you are wondering if God is calling you to sign up, God already has! Just remember, the safest fish are those in schools. Jump in the current and Follow Me!
