St. Luke's Dinner for Eight

You are invited to the Kickoff Event for Dinner for Eight, Saturday, September 6, 2008 at St. Luke's. More details to follow.

Couples of all ages, join us for a year (September 2008-May 2009) of creating lasting relationships with other church members in small groups at a host’s home. The program centers on intriguing conversation, delicious food and outstanding fellowship with different people at each month’s dinner.

The host provides the main dish and beverages and guests bring the rest to make a wonderful dining experience. The size of your dining room is not an issue: St. Luke’s members love to sit elbow to elbow enjoying delightful conversations and dinner.

Activities for the Dinner for Eight include the Kick-Off in September to get to know the members who will be participating in the season, with host dinners occurring in October, November, and January through April. December is our holiday event in conjunction with the United Methodist Women (UWM). The Grand Finale is held in May.

September's Dinner for Eight Kick Off Party will be Saturday, September 6th at St. Luke's More details to follow. Join us for great fun and fellowship! Meet new friends who will be participating in Dinner for Eight with you.

Dinner for Eight took a trip on the Rivership Romance in Sanford in May to close another season of dining.

Rivership Romance Ship
St. Luke's Dinner for Eight members settling in on the Rivership Romance.

Join us for a season (September 2008 – May 2009) of creating lasting relationships with other church members in small groups at a host’s home. The conversation is intriguing, the food delicious and the fellowship outstanding! You will be so glad you joined!

You will host 1-2 times during the season. The host provides the main dish and beverages and the guests bring the rest to make a wonderful dining experience. The size of your dining room is not an issue; St. Luke’s members love to sit elbow to elbow enjoying delightful conversations, dinner, and meeting different couples monthly. See the attached for detailed guidelines.

Are you interested in Singles Dining and Fun? We have two groups available, 35 - 45 and 46 & up. Select the appropriate option on the form. If you have questions about the Singles Dining contact Kathy Hodak at hodak20@earthlink.net for the 35 45 age group or Pam Folett at psfol@aol.com or Jacky Romanik at jromanik@hotmail.com for the 46 & up group.
