Spiritual Gifts: Giving, Mercy, Faith and Shepherding
Beth joined St. Luke’s staff on the Serve team in January 2016. She became the Circles Coordinator after serving several years in this part of the East Winter Garden Community Initiative as an Ally and as a Guiding Coalition Co-Chair. Beth has been a member of St. Luke’s since 1998 and feels overwhelmingly grateful to work alongside the gifted and loving people of this congregation.
As Circles Coordinator, Beth’s primary responsibility is to create a positive, safe, and productive environment for Circles families who are working to move from poverty toward economic stability and for their Allies, who have chosen to be in a supportive friendship with them during this process. She engages volunteers to serve as Allies, provide meals, prepare meeting space, and implement adult and children’s programming for weekly meetings.
Beth graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and received her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. Her husband, Ben, and children, Jonathan, Danielle and Nicholas are a significant source of joy and strength for her. She loves to hike, bike, kayak or just take a stroll outdoors.
Besides Circles, Beth enjoys being a part of a covenant group, the Thursday Morning Women’s Bible Study group and the West Windermere/Keene’s Pointe Cluster group. Also, her love of children led her to teach Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years.
