Dave Jans (407) 876-4991 ext. *254 Dave came to St. Luke’s with his family in the summer of 2000. He served as a youth ministry intern from late 2004 until the end of the 2006 school year where he heard his call into vocational youth ministry. He served on team at the Warren W. Willis Youth Summer Camp in the summer of 2006. From August to December of 2006, he served as an intern with the Forthspring Intercommunity group in West Belfast, Northern Ireland, working to bridge the gap between Catholic and Protestant neighborhoods along the “Peace Wall”. When he returned in 2007, he became the Director of Emerging Ministries with HopeSpring Church where he lead the worship team, the young adults and youth groups. In 2008 Dave became a part of the NexGen staff as the Associate Director of NexGen Ministries until 2012 when he was promoted to the position of Director of NexGen Middle School Minstries. Dave’s job focuses on the spiritual formation of students in 6th through 98th grade. He leads weekly programming, creates curriculum, recruits volunteers and plans off-site events that help middle schoolers worship, connect, grow and serve at St. Luke’s.
