Joline serves as the Director of Adult Discipleship on the Guide team. Her role is to enable people to become engaged in learning and service opportunities so that they become the disciple God has called them to be.
The Construction Team oversees the Adult Discipleship process by coordinating groups, classes and learning communities to ensure the development and empowerment of St. Luke's people as we Build the Kingdom by Building Disciples.
Joline's LATTE team, Lay Activation Team: Totally Engaged is responsible for the Kingdom Building process which helps people discover their spiritual gifts through assessments and consultations. LATTE also staffs the Service Stations, and is the home of the Shepherd's Team which seeks to communicate with the entire congregation through personal contacts. Joline also coaches the staff and ministry leaders in team building and volunteer utilization.
She graduated from the University of Maryland (Go Terps!) with a BA in English and Secondary Education and retired from Southern Senior High School near Annapolis as the English Department Chair and yearbook adviser. She joined St. Luke's staff in June 2005 following a term as Chair of Church Council.
Joline lives in Ocoee with her husband, Ray. Four generations of her family call St. Luke's their church home. Jo DeHart, her mom, Joline and Ray, daughter Julie and her husband, Ronnie, and granddaughter Peyton all worship here. She also has a daughter, Lori, son-in-law, Matt, and granddaughter, Raleigh, in New Albany, Ohio. She loves to write, teach, scrapbook, and find God in all things.
