Plan Your Visit

Welcome to St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. We know you have many options to choose from when it comes to places to worship, connect, grow, and serve so we are honored that you are planning your visit to St. Luke’s.

Steps to Planning Your Visit

1. Choose a Worship Service and Time

St. Luke’s offers several styles of worship:

Traditional (8:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 11:00 a.m.): This service is held in the Sanctuary and music is led by the Sanctuary Choir and ensembles. The attire ranges from casual/business casual to business professional. The pastor wears a robe. There are both pews and chairs in the sanctuary and while all of the hymns, scripture, and responses are projected onto screens for easy reading, you can also use the hymnals and Bibles provided in each row.

Traditional worship

Contemporary (9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.):  This service is held in Founder’s Hall in Building C. The attire is casual and the pastor usually wears casual/business casual clothes. Music in this service is led by the contemporary praise team (full band and vocalists).

Each worship service offers uplifting music and an inspirational message/sermon from one of St. Luke’s four pastors.

2. Let Us Know You’re Coming

If you think you might need some assistance finding your way around campus please feel free to email the Connect office by 3:00 p.m. on Friday so that we can arrange for a volunteer to meet you at our designated Connection Points.

If you have children (six weeks through 4th grade) visit our welcome window on the first floor of Building B. Pre-schoolers and kindergartners will attend classes on the first floor. 1st through 4th graders are on the second floor (back hallway). Feel free to email us with any questions.

All classes for students in 5th-12th grade are located in the Youth Center:

3. Parking

When you arrive please proceed to the spaces across from the circle drive. These parking spaces are reserved for first time guests just like you. Click here to view a map of our parking on campus.

4. Once You’ve Parked

Greeters will be available to guide you to either worship venue but don’t hesitate to ask a St. Luker for directions.  Visit the Welcome Window on the first floor of Building B for Sunday school room assignments for children. All classes for students in 5th-12th grade are located in the Youth Center. At the Connection Points in Building C you can ask a volunteer about classes for adults or view class locations on the iPad stations.

5. Finding the Donuts and Coffee

No visit to a new church is complete without coffee and donuts. Pick up a New Guest Welcome Booklet from one of the Connection Points in Building C and proceed to the center of the building where you can use your “Donut Coupon” for some sugary goodness and caffeine (or decaf) on us.

6. Tell Us What You Think

One of St. Luke’s core values is hospitality so we are continually striving to improve the experience for first time guests. After your visit it would really help us if you completed the First Time Guest Evaluation found on the last page of your New Guest Welcome Booklet (available at the Connection Point in the Rotunda of Building C). If you would like more information about St. Luke’s and how to get connected contact Elizabeth Vasquez, Director of Connect Ministries. We look forward to seeing you again soon and we hope you will consider St. Luke’s your church home.
