Grace and Peace Beloved St. Lukers!

While the season of Eastertide has come to an end, we now move into a powerful season, because with the close of these “great 50 days” comes the season of Pentecost!

Our worship teams have been preparing for weeks for this Sunday (May 19) as we celebrate and commemorate the Holy Spirit coming into the world and giving birth to the body of Christ, the church. We want to invite each and every one of you, and your friends and family, to join us for a powerful worship experience where ALL St. Lukers will be gathered together in one service at 10:00 a.m., in one place (the Sanctuary), filled with the Holy Spirit as we read Scripture, celebrate baptisms, welcome new Partners, and sing to the Lord with all of our hearts, minds, souls, and strength!

Then after worship, ALL are invited to join us for a special community brunch, with food provided by St. Luker Steve Smith, in our newly-renovated Welcome Hall! The construction crews and our volunteer scenic team have been hard at work bringing this space to life in unique ways to welcome all people. We will also be dedicating this beautiful space, so we hope you join us for this long-awaited day of community and fellowship!

As we prepare to move into the month of June very soon, we want to invite every St. Luker to be a part of a PurposeFull Conversations group. Sign up to join a group where you will share in a meal together, and courageously have conversations that expand our perspective, grow our empathy, and ultimately, build Beloved Community and reveal God’s Kingdom. Sign up and learn more about PurposeFull Conversations by clicking here.

Finally, ALL men are invited to our last Men’s Ministry Breakfast event before our summer break on Thursday, May 23 at 6:30 a.m. in Founder’s Hall! Come and enjoy a delicious breakfast, participate in insightful conversation, and create meaningful relationships that will help you grow as a disciple of Christ. Click here to see our upcoming fall event dates and to RSVP for May 23, we would love to see you there.

See you Sunday,

Pastor Jad
