Agua Viva Global Mission Experience
A team of 10 to 12 St. Lukers will travel to Costa Rica this summer to be part of a team to provide access to clean water to homes on the Nicaraguan border. Members of the team will work on a construction site to connect water to homes or to dig wells to the water source.
Applicants should have a desire to work in community on a construction project under the guidance of Agua Viva in country team. Must have a strong back and a willingness to be flexible and open to a new cultural experience.
Must have proof of COVID vaccination and a valid passport more than 7 months before expiration date. St. Luke’s follows AVS’ policies and CDC travel guidelines. Spanish is not required but a plus.
Training
ALL team members will participate in Cultural Intelligence Training and team building Thursday evenings from June 30 through July 21 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

July 30 to August 6, 2022
Cost
Approximately $1500 per person
This includes flight, hotel, food and a donation to Agua Viva.
