Racial Wealth Gap Simulation

Nov 16 @ 12:30pm - Nov 16 @ 2:00pm
Location: Building C – The Treehouse

Join our Missions team on November 16 at 12:30 p.m. in The Treehouse for an engaging simulation that helps us better understand the connection between racial equity, poverty, and hunger in our communities.

The Racial Wealth Gap Learning Simulation is an interactive tool that helps participants learn how federal policies created structural inequalities and how these policies increase hunger and poverty in communities of color.

Participants will learn how federal policies created structural inequalities in many areas, e.g., property ownership and education, and how these policies increase hunger and poverty in communities of color. The simulation guides participants to an understanding of why racial equity is so important to ending hunger and poverty in the United States.
