ABOUT THE SHOW:

Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved stories and the classic animated film, Disney’s The Little Mermaid is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and a compelling book by Doug Wright, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs, including “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl” and “Part of Your World.”

CALLING ALL 3RD-8TH GRADERS!

Just Announced: Join us for Theatre Camp from July 31 – August 4

AUDITIONS:

Thursday, June 22 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Auditions will take place at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church (4851 S Apopka Vineland Rd, Orlando, FL 32819)

–All students must prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre song or a Disney song (the equivalent of a verse and chorus), and may present a one-minute, memorized comedic monologue if they so choose.

–Please bring sheet music or an instrumental track on a device. (Please disable the lock screen.)

–You do NOT need to bring a recent headshot or picture. Please make sure to upload it with your audition sign up.

TUITION:

$250.00 – Tuition fee allows us to cover costumes for all students.

REHEARSALS:

July 31 – August 4 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

PERFORMANCE:

Friday, August 4 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and will go on sale soon!

ABOUT THE SHOW:

Journey “under the sea” with Ariel and her aquatic friends in Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR., adapted from Disney’s Broadway production and the motion picture (featuring the enormously popular Academy Award-winning music and delightfully charming book and lyrics). Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved stories, Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR. is an enchanting look at the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance.

Theatre at St. Luke’s creates an opportunity for students to develop their skills and build confidence through voice, movement, and acting. Students are taught the process of character development, theatre fundamentals and create and learn from some of Central Florida’s best professional Directors and teaching artists.
