Conversations you can’t just Google.
October 19 | November 16 | December 21
7:30 p.m. in the Youth Center
You’ve probably noticed that the world is a mess right now. And unlike so many challenges of life, a Google search isn’t going to give us the solutions.
But how are you using your story to change it?
searchbar is an opportunity to come together with people asking the same questions you are. Wondering about the same things you are. Searching for somewhere to have a conversation that is honest and authentic about the realities of life, culture, and society.
It’s easy to find a place to name the challenges we all face personally and systemically, but this experience is for people who want to be part of the solution and create hope, not just name problems and point fingers.
Each gathering, we will hear personal stories that center around an issue, and we’ll see how that intersects with art, music, and more. And then you’ll have a chance to name how your story intersects, and help us work toward hope together in real, practical ways.
The topic for October 19 is: Oops, Church Did It Again
Other upcoming dates (topics TBA):
- November 16
- December 21
Wondering why a church wants to create this authentic space?
Come find out.
Because at searchbar, your story is welcome. No matter what you believe. No matter what your background is. We don’t have all the answers, but let’s see if we can search for them together.
