LOVE IN ACTION: FOOD DRIVE!

LoveInAction-Nov._1920x1080_p1.png

Get ready to compete with students of all ages for a Thanksgiving Food Drive to help our neighbors.

Beginning this Sunday, kids from preschool to elementary to youth will begin collecting items to make Thanksgiving baskets that will be donated next month.

As a Youth Ministry, our specific goal is to collect as many cans of CORN as possible in order to have our Youth Director, Brandon, get a pie in the face on November 18!

So get out there and shop for corn, and drop your cans in the Youth Center starting this Sunday!

HIGH SCHOOL DROP-IN

Introducing High School Drop-In!

Looking for a place to land after school? High School Drop-In is a welcoming space for high school students to hang out, work on homework or study for tests, and connect with friends and youth ministry leaders here on campus.

Drop-In will be available after school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays ONLY from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

This is when we can provide the adult supervision required by our church’s safety policy. This helps us care for our students, staff, and volunteers while continuing to offer a place for students to gather. As more approved adult volunteers become available, we hope to offer additional days.

For now, please plan your after-school visits for Tuesdays and Wednesdays!

EVENT WITH COMBINED CHURCHES!!

A colorful graphic announces "Friendsgiving" on November 22nd at FUMC Winter Garden, inviting attendees to bring a side or dessert.

Friendsgiving will be BIGGER and better than ever this year! We will be meeting at First UMC Winter Garden at 5 pm for a potluck dinner, games, worship, and just to make new friends.

This will be a joint High School event with FUMC Winter Garden and FUMC Winter Park. Meet us in Winter Garden and be sure to bring a side dish or dessert to share. The sign-up is below!

PUMPKIN PATCH!

St. Luke's Pumpkin Patch graphic displays pumpkins and autumn leaves with event details for October 13-31.

Do you need volunteer hours??

We need volunteers to welcome families, help with pumpkin sales, and create a fun, festive atmosphere for our community. We’re happy to sign off on volunteer hours for students! Whole families are welcome to volunteer together (as long as there’s an adult present), and you’re welcome to bring a wagon to help guests carry their pumpkins!

Whether you can give an hour or an afternoon, your time makes a huge difference. Sign up for one or more shifts and join us in making the patch a memorable experience for kids, families, and neighbors.

Sign up to serve October 13-31!

We’ll meet at the church to drive to Apopka together at 1 PM and be back by 4.

Christian Service Center-Dec. 4
