St. Luke’s United Methodist Church is seeking a full-time Director of Elementary Ministries to lead the spiritual formation and discipleship of children in Grades K–5 and their families.
The Director of Elementary Ministries will provide leadership for Sunday and midweek programming, volunteer development, family engagement, Vacation Bible School, special events, and creative large-group ministry experiences in our Treehouse ministry environment. This leader will work closely with the Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Next Generation Ministries to create a seamless pathway of discipleship from Preschool through Student Ministry.
The ideal candidate is a passionate follower of Jesus Christ who demonstrates strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; enjoys building relationships with children and families; and has experience recruiting, equipping, and leading volunteers. A heart for discipleship, creativity in ministry, and a commitment to partnering with parents as primary spiritual influencers are essential.

This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Next Generation Ministries.
United Methodist experience is helpful but not required.
