PAST TRAININGS INCLUDE:

A Basic Guide to Government: Civics for Change Makers – Ever wondered who actually does what in our government or how it all fits together?  This Civics for Change Makers is designed to take the confusion out of civics and give you a clear, accessible foundation for understanding how our government works. As people of faith, we are called to love our neighbors not only through service, but through informed and thoughtful engagement in the world around us. Understanding how our government works is one way we live out that calling.

Social Principles: Civics for Change Makers – This series is designed to equip and inspire faithful civic engagement by learning the foundations of Wesleyan theology – the 2025-2028 Social Principles and Social Creed. Together, we’ll explore the history and heart behind these teachings and how they shape the way we engage with the world around us. This gathering will lay the biblical and theological groundwork for why being United Methodist means approaching civic life with clarity, conviction, and compassion.
