Iván González, MA, LMHC

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Iván González is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of experience helping adults, young adults, and couples navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. He specializes in religious deconstruction and faith transitions, helping clients explore questions of identity, meaning, and spirituality with curiosity and compassion.  Iván also has a particular passion for working with men of color seeking greater emotional health, deeper relationships, and a stronger sense of purpose.

Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, Gottman Method interventions, and other evidence-based approaches,  Iván helps clients move beyond survival and toward lives that feel more connected, authentic, and fulfilling. His style is warm, collaborative, and practical, balancing insight-oriented exploration with concrete tools that clients can apply in their daily lives. He works with individuals and couples facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relational distress, grief, and questions related to identity, faith, and personal growth.

Iván provides counseling in both English and Spanish and is committed to creating a culturally responsive space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported. He believes that meaningful change is possible when people are given the opportunity to tell their stories, make sense of their experiences, and move toward the life they want to build.
