Creation Care Green Team

The Green Team is a group of St. Lukers aspiring to care for God’s creation — organising tree plantings, beach cleanups and shoreline restorations, and supporting the church’s green initiatives.

The team supports the Grow It Forward Microfarm, the UWIF Rummage Sale, and the work of going solar. This is an intersectional ministry and the ways to serve are vast, so there is genuinely something for everyone.

What the team needs

  • Researchers

Finding out what works, and what the church could do next.

  • Event coordinators

Plantings and cleanups take somebody to organise them.

  • Volunteers

Turning up on the day, and speaking for this work in the rest of the church.

All are welcome. To join, email Saniye Kazan.
