Dear St. Lukers,
As the school year comes to a close, our Children’s Ministry is reflecting on a beautiful season. From Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, to special events sprinkled throughout the year, we’ve seen God move in the lives of our kids and families in amazing ways—and we’re just getting started!
One of our biggest milestones this month was celebrating our 5th graders at Rise Up, as they stepped confidently from elementary into middle school activities. We’re so proud of these students and can’t wait to see them belong, grow, and serve in St. Luke’s Youth Ministries!
Another important milestone in the lives of our kids is our new initiative: Kinders on the Move! Kinders on the Move is a special milestone experience held once a month from May through July. Kindergarteners visit The Treehouse to explore the space, meet their future teachers, and get a fun preview of what’s ahead for them on Sundays!
Looking ahead, Vacation Bible School (VBS) is almost here! From June 16-20, our church campus will be full of joy, music, games, and faith-filled fun as over 350 children, youth, and adults learn more about how following Jesus changes the game. Kids will hear about the incredible miracles Jesus performed, and discover that Jesus does everything out of love and calls us to follow him! The fun doesn’t stop there! Join us this summer for Kids Connect Pop-Up Events—family-friendly gatherings in local neighborhoods that build on our VBS faith lessons through games and activities for all ages. We’ll kick things off with Game On! Family Game Night on Wednesday, June 25 in The Treehouse, followed by off-campus pop-ups in July. The summer wraps up with our Hoops & Scoops finale in the Gym on Wednesday, July 23. More details on these fun events coming soon!

As we wrap up this school year, we want to share this special blessing over our St. Luke’s Kids:
Lord, bless every child finishing school this week. Give them rest, joy, and excitement for the adventures ahead. Remind them daily that they are your beloved- cherished, known, and never alone. Amen.
We’re so thankful to walk this journey with our families. Here’s to a summer of connection, growth, and joy in Jesus!
