Kids

Infants, Preschool, Kindergarten-5th grade

St. Luke’s Kids is a place where children and families can discover God’s love in a fun, welcoming, and age-appropriate environment. From our loving nursery care for infants to interactive lessons and exciting activities for preschoolers and elementary-aged kids, every Sunday is filled with laughter, learning, and faith-building moments.

Through engaging worship, creative games, and small group connections, we help kids grow in their relationship with God and with one another. And the journey doesn’t stop on Sundays—we also provide families with tools and resources to continue growing in faith at home all week long.

The first Sunday of every month is “All-In Sunday”, where children are encouraged to worship with their families! Childcare is available during All-In Sundays for children up to the Kindergarten age.

Come be a part of St. Luke’s Kids—where faith, fun, and friendship come to life!

FAQs

Children’s Ministry / St. Luke’s KIDS serves children from birth through 5th grade, with dedicated programming and support tailored to each developmental stage, including nursery, preschool, and elementary-aged children.

St. Luke’s KIDS programs are offered during Sunday morning worship services and on Wednesday evenings during the school year. Weekly programming typically happens in Buildings B and C on the church campus.

Special seasonal events, summer programs like VBS and camps, and family engagement opportunities also take place throughout the year. Our soccer and basketball leagues occur in the spring and fall on the church campus on the front fields and in the gym.

No pre-registration is required! Families are welcome to arrive and register on-site. Our friendly volunteers will be available to guide you through the process and help your child get settled into the appropriate group. Elementary-aged children can be checked in upstairs in Building C, above the Rotunda. Babies through Kindergarteners will check in just inside the entrance of Building B.

Yes! We are committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for every child. We recognize that each child has unique needs, so we take an individualized approach. After speaking with the parent or guardian, we work together to understand the child’s learning style, behavior, and any specific needs. Our goal is to thoughtfully integrate those needs into the classroom setting to ensure a positive and successful experience for everyone.

There are many ways to get involved with St. Luke’s KIDS—from serving on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights, to helping at seasonal events like VBS and theater productions. Volunteers can assist in classrooms, lead small groups, or support with check-in and hospitality. They can help guide kids in sports leagues, provide snacks and supplies, or help with any of the behind-the-scenes work. Contact Lana Stevens to see how you can get involved.

During Sunday church services, care and discipleship are offered for infants to Kindergarten on the first floor of Building B.

During Wednesday Night Programming, care is provided for infants to Kindergarten in Building A, room 110.

The first Sunday of every month is “All-In Sunday”, where families are encouraged to worship all together, children included!  There is childcare available during All-In Sundays for children up to Kindergarten age.

Meet St. Lukers 👋

Hear what our commUnity is saying

“I bring my kids to St. Luke’s because I want them to hear about God’s love from people who can better tell the story than I can and be surrounded by a community where they can see and feel that love in action.”

“I bring my kids to St. Luke’s because it’s a second home. It’s a place where kids can grow while exploring their faith and building community.”

“I bring my kids to St. Luke’s because I want them to learn about God and Jesus and have a Christian foundation so that someday when the world disappoints them, they will remember to come to Jesus.”
