February 2026 Staffing Updates

As part of our ongoing commitment to faithful stewardship and long-term financial sustainability, several staffing adjustments are taking place this month following approval of the Staff Parish Relations Committee, based on the approved 2026 operating budget.

The position of Senior Director of Marketing & Communications (Diana Mendez) is being eliminated. We are deeply thankful for Diana’s leadership and service to St. Luke’s and for the many ways she has strengthened our communications ministry.

Rachel Romoser will be transitioning from her full-time role into a part-time position as Membership Administrator. In this role, she will continue overseeing membership records, data management, reporting, Realm software administration, and guest follow-up processes. We are grateful Rachel will remain on our team in this important capacity.

In addition, several responsibilities are being realigned within Children’s Ministry and administration. Heidi Estep will transition into the role of Executive Administrator, dedicating approximately 60% of her time to supporting the Senior Administrative Team and 40% to Children’s Ministry administration. Lana Stevens will focus her leadership exclusively on Elementary MinistryKelli Louden will take on leadership responsibilities for Preschool Ministry, in addition to her ongoing work with the Child Development Center (CDC).

These adjustments are designed to strengthen ministry focus while aligning with our current financial realities. All decisions were made thoughtfully and prayerfully, guided by our commitment to mission alignment, long-term sustainability, transparency, and care for our staff.

We ask for your prayers during this season of transition and for the continued strength of our staff team.

Scooter Leonard
