Vaccines: Let me inject my view…
Healthful Information from your Parish Nurse
Vaccines have been a hot topic over the last few years, and most recently, the MMR vaccine and the immunization schedule itself, has come under the scrutiny of our current administration. There is so much confusion and conflicting information….
Stephen Ministry
Supportive presence when you need it
While Stephen Ministers are not pastors or professional counselors, they have 50 hours of training that includes active listening, confidentiality, and trust building. They cannot provide counsel or advice but will walk alongside you during life’s storms such as job loss, divorce/separation, relocation, stress, grief, etc. We offer loving care, prayers, compassion, and support.
Our leader, Lisa Apikos shares how Stephen Ministers can be a precious gift.
Learn what she says HERE.
Women are matched with female Stephen Ministers and
men are matched with male Stephen Ministers.

Contact the Care Office by email HERE
or call us at
407-876-4991 ext. 262
to be connected with a Stephen Minister.

Caregiver burnout is very real, so it’s crucial that caregivers take care of themselves, too. After all, if caregivers are feeling stressed and overwhelmed, they can’t provide the best care for their loved one.
Join this safe space to briefly let go and connect!

OneBlood’s Big Red Bus is back at St. Luke’s on Sunday, September 20 outside Building C. Scheduling an appointment is strongly encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. Your donation can potentially save up to three lives!
Learn more HERE.
Free Blood Pressure Screenings
will also be available on campus outside both worship venues.
This is a great way to double check the readings you are getting at home. Hypertension, known as the “silent killer”, is a major risk factor for
heart disease and stroke! Let’s make sure yours is under control.
