Stephen Ministry Preview Training Class

October 6, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.

Do you feel called to support others when they are going through a difficult time? Do you seek opportunities to come alongside people who need Christian love and caring? If so, then Stephen Ministry may be the perfect care ministry for you! A Stephen Minister is not a pastor, but a lay person trained to provide one-to-one care to those experiencing storms in life, such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or relocation.

If you’d like to learn more about this unique ministry, please join us for a preview of a Stephen Ministry Training Class where you’ll meet other volunteers serving in this capacity and learn more about how to become a trained Stephen Minister. We offer a hybrid class (online and in-person) on Thursday, October 6 at 6:30 p.m. in Building B, Room 202 and also on Zoom.

Applications are now being accepted through Sunday, October 16 for the 2023 class. Training will start on Tuesday, January 10 at 6:30 p.m. Click here to complete a fillable PDF application.
