Cancer has touched almost everyone in one form or another, whether you have been diagnosed yourself or someone you know has been affected by this disease, or if you have a family history of cancer. Join our Parish Nurse, Lisa Crump, and Christian Church, Community Health Educator from Moffitt Cancer Center for this informative Health Series. These sessions will cover cancer screening and prevention, healthy living and nutrition, new emerging treatments, breaking down the myths of clinical trials, and resources. This series is open to all – those experiencing cancer themselves or in their families, those with a family history of one of these types of cancers, those who want to expand their knowledge, or those who want to understand how to connect with Moffitt.
Join us on Sundays after worship for any or all of the sessions that interest you. Each session will be held in the Barnes Learning Center B210 (large classroom) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All classes are FREE.
