We’re looking for adults and students who are willing to listen, have fun, ask questions, and show up consistently.
What you’ll do
You’ll show up on Sundays or Wednesdays, play games, sing songs, laugh often, and engage every kid.

KIDS SUNDAYS / WEDNESDAYS
Nursery : This person provides safe, loving care for infants and toddlers where they can discover God’s love through Bible stories and play. Must be dependable, compassionate and caring and responsible.
Preschool / Elementary Leader: This person provides loving care for the child and helps develop their understanding and faith journey. They must be highly relational, compassionate and caring and consistently dependable. They must be able to read the curriculum and come prepared to lead discussions, group activities and crafts. They should also be able to graciously manage behavioral dynamics and navigate some difficult issues in the life of a child.
Preschool / Elementary Small Group Co-Leader: Someone who is learning to be a small group leader or is perhaps willing to assist the Lead Teacher in leading a group. They should be adults but can be trained teenagers. Can also lead zoom Sunday school class for their age group.
Greeter: / Check-in: This person must have a very warm and welcoming personality. They’re responsible for making the first personal impression on new kids and parents as they come in. They help get kids registered or checked in and provide parents and help answer any questions.
Special Needs Leader: a person designated to assist a special-needs child throughout the program. This person should be compassionate, caring, confident and firm. Should be able to become thoroughly acquainted with the diagnoses and needs of the child, communicate consistently with the parent.
KIDS WORSHIP LEADERS
Worship Leader: A person who helps leads the songs. Must be able to memorize songs and energetically lead kids. Can be trained youth and upper elementary kids. Could be used during Sundays and Special Events (VBS, Family Services, etc.)
Large Group Host/s: This person should have a fun, engaging personality that can warmly welcome the kids at the beginning of large group, creatively give any announcements and host any transitions between the segments. Must be able to memorize information for announcements and lines for skits.
StoryTellers: The is team is responsible for communicating the Biblical story and message in a way that relates well to kids and is easy to understand. Can use children volunteers to do the skit as well.
EVENT LEADERS
Events set-up /break down: These people may not be able to serve the entire event but can come in before event and help set up.
Events Leader: Cannot serve weekly but is available to join in and serve for isolated events.
SUMMER LEADERS
VBS Leadership Team:
These people must be highly detailed-oriented and must be able to organize people to act on issues regarding the creation of VBS. Must oversee certain areas and make sure all details are accounted for.
VBS Leaders: These people must be highly relational, compassionate and caring, patient and fun. They must be able to read the curriculum and come prepared to lead discussions, group activities, crafts and help guide children through the daily events. They should also be able to graciously manage behavioral dynamics and navigate some difficult issues in the life of a child. Can be adult or older youth.
Summer Camp Leaders: These people must be highly relational, compassionate and caring, patient and fun. They must be able to create curriculum for the week and come prepared to lead discussions, group activities, crafts and help guide children through the rotations. They should also be able to graciously manage behavioral dynamics and navigate some difficult issues in the life of a child. Can be adult or older youth.
Summer Camp Teachers:
These people must be knowledgeable in their skillset and help create a curriculum for the week. Be prepared to lead discussions, group activities, crafts, and help guide children.
EXTRA ROLES
Sunday Coordinator: This person supports the programmatic needs of the ministry and its leaders. They must be organized, routines, and able to think on their feet.They help prepare things for the programming and get things setup ahead of time or work with volunteers to do this.
Parent Coordinator: This person is the primary parent resource. Must be empathetic, patient and nurturing. Helps navigate parent surveys, parent discussions, parent breakfasts and is the liaison between families. Can lead parent discussions on zoom.
Runner/Hall Monitor: This person is tasked with making sure children are walked to their proper classroom after check-in, monitors hallway traffic and bathroom breaks, and facilitates children from their classroom to their parents at check-out.
Resourcer: A person who makes sure all the leader’s bins have all of the curriculum and program supplies they need and helps stock any needed resources for Sunday.
Volunteer Team Captain:This person creates small monthly celebrations for volunteers. Must be highly relational, organized and excited to appreciating our team.
