By now you will have already read the email regarding Pastor David Stephens’ retirement. We have all been so blessed by David and Marca’s consistent, faithful and loving ministry at St. Luke’s. If you haven’t had a chance to read his letter, please click here. I appreciated his ministry for many years before being appointed to St. Luke’s and have been grateful to work alongside him over these last nine years. I am thankful he will be staying on in his role as part-time Visitation Pastor but also excited that he and Marca will have the time they both richly deserve to spend with their family. I hope you will make sure to help us spread the word about our celebrations of David’s ministry including the inaugural Pastor David Stephens 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, May 21 and the after-worship receptions on Sunday, May 22!
