Dear St. Lukers and Class of 2023,

Congratulations! You have achieved a remarkable milestone, and our entire community is bursting with pride and joy for each one of you. We are excited to invite you to worship this Sunday (May 21) as we gather together to honor and celebrate YOU!

During worship, we will play a special slideshow highlighting those who have graduated from high school and college, and those who received post-graduate degrees and certificates this year. This is an opportunity for us to celebrate your individual successes and the collective impact you’ve had on our community. We hope you will come and be in worship as the congregation witnesses the transformative power of education, dedication, and perseverance through you!

But this celebration is not just about the past—it is about the future that lies ahead. As you step into this new phase of your journey, we want you to carry with you the knowledge that you are not alone. Our community, rooted in faith and love, will continue to support and uplift you as you navigate new challenges, chase your dreams, and create meaningful change in the world.

Remember, you are not just graduates; you are ambassadors of hope, compassion, and possibility. Your actions and choices will shape the future of our society, and we have full confidence that you will make a profound difference wherever your path may lead.

So, let us come together in worship this week to honor you, to celebrate you, and to send you forth with our blessings and prayers. Know that our hearts overflow with gratitude for the privilege of being a part of your journey. We cannot wait to see all the incredible things you will accomplish in the years to come, and how you will continue to Learn, Live, Love, and Lead your lives like Jesus.

Again, congratulations to the graduates of 2023! Embrace the applause, soak in the love, and step into your bright and promising future with courage, determination, and the unwavering support of your St. Luke’s family.

Belong and Be Blessed,

Brandon Sangster

St. Luke’s Director of Youth Ministries
