St. Luke’s has partnered with Coalition for the Homeless, providing hot meals each third Saturday of the month to people experiencing homelessness in Central Florida.

While the St. Luke’s UMC and Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida campuses have modified their activities in recent years, St. Luke’s continues to provide the ingredients for a monthly dinner. Your generous support to help make this possible is very much appreciated.

Special Note:  The Coalition for the Homeless Men’s Service Center (MSC) is still under repair from the recent fire, however the Coalition team will be able to prepare the meal in St. Luke’s church kitchen and still be able to provide the meal to the guests at the MSC on the 3rd Saturday, in April.

The April menu is Taco Casserole with Mexican White Rice plus a small vegan version for guests that don’t eat meat. We’ll get the ground beef & canned tomatoes in bulk & need your help with other ingredients & usual accompaniments to round out a balanced meal- pinto beans, long grain rice, vegetables & fresh fruit-plus homemade desserts for a special treat.

The Coalition guests are truly grateful for the love shown them through a fresh, flavorful, healthy meal.
