St. Luke’s has partnered with Coalition for the Homeless, providing hot meals each third Saturday of the month to people experiencing homelessness in Central Florida.

While the St. Luke’s UMC and Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida campuses have modified their activities in recent years, St. Luke’s continues to provide the ingredients for a monthly dinner. Your generous support to help make this possible is very much appreciated. 

Special Note: The Coalition for the Homeless Men’s Service Center (MSC) is still under repair from the recent fire, so we will again likely be cooking in the church kitchen & simplifying our menu to facilitate easier transporting & serving in a small space at the Coalition.

Our July dinner menu for the Coalition for the Homeless is Chicken ala King plus a small vegan version for the guests that do not eat meat and dairy. We’ll get the chicken in bulk and need your help with other ingredients and the usual accompaniments to round out a balanced meal – vegetables, milk for the sauce, long grain rice, and fresh fruit – plus homemade desserts for a special treat.
