It’s time for the OCPS and Go Full Steam 2025 4th grade Math Bee!!!
The Fourth Grade MathBee Invitational was developed by Go Full STEAM in cooperation with Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) to create excitement for mathematics and encourage students to consider careers in STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) related fields as well as see the importance of Mathematics in their personal lives and future careers. Trophies, t-shirts, medals and cash prizes are used to motivate students to master the fourth grade math curriculum in preparation for the MathBee. Students also learn confidence, poise and grace under pressure.
In Class Math Bees and School Final Math Bees happen at participating Title 1 schools from the end of March thru April. We are looking for volunteers to be in person judges for some of the schools participating in this year’s Math Bee.
The County Final will be on May 15th at St. Luke’s. This is our big event. We will have 29 schools participating this year with around 15 students per school attending the final! There are shifts prior to the event, during the event, and after. If you can sign up for more than one, please do!
We would be happy to have you help at any of the competitions you can. Please feel free to share this with others who might be interested in volunteering. With your help we can make the 2025 Math Bee a success!
