Tomorrow we will be traveling very quickly up and back to Macon, GA. to see Grace perform in her first Wesleyan College STUNT. It is a tradition that dates back to 1897 to raise scholarship money at Wesleyan. Each sister class creates a 20 – 30 minute original musical. The class has three weeks from the first reading to learn lines, create dances, paint backdrops and make props in order to compete against the other classes to win the coveted STUNT cup. (Funny note: the STUNT show I helped write in 1992 for the Pirate class was about the school who taught Monsters who hid under the bed and in the closet to scare children – sound familiar?
